Metropolitan Educational Solutions, LLC (MES) currently provides housing search and placement assistance, landlord/client mediation, life skills education, and adult and family independent living case management services to former and chronically homeless men, women, and families placed by the Department of Human Services in Washington, DC.
We operate a case management program that implements individual and family apartment units or houses with a treatment program delivered by a multi-disciplinary team linked with other inter-agency resources for the most vulnerable homeless residents of the District of Columbia. Program participants are put into “real life” situations and are supported by staff.
The Case Management Program provides workshops, special events and support services to our clients, to help them adapt to “non” homeless life styles. It is our hope that our program participants go on to live more confidently and better prepared for the challenges that “non” homeless living brings.
MES believes that giving these most vulnerable persons and families a helping hand today is a start in breaking the cycle of homelessness for tomorrow.
